The app

Swarm has no account and no telemetry. It doesn't phone home with how you use it. It connects only to the peers and trackers for torrents you add — and, if you set one up, through your proxy/VPN. Protocol encryption and IP blocklists are there to keep that traffic more private.

To offer updates, Swarm periodically checks swarmtorrent.com for a new version. Like any web request, that reveals your IP address and current app version to the server — nothing more. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings.

The website

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel) — anonymous, no cookies, no cross-site tracking. It counts page views and how often the download / Homebrew buttons are used, so we know what's working. There are no advertising trackers.

Feedback you send

If you use the feedback form, we store your message, your email only if you choose to give one, plus the page, a timestamp, and your IP address. The IP is kept solely to limit spam. Only the site owner can read submissions. Please don't put anything sensitive in there.

What we never do

• Sell or share your data.
• Track what you download — the app doesn't report your torrents to anyone.
• Show ads.
